顶级手套（TOPGLOV）员工宿舍被实施加强行动管控令（EMCO），外界传出有1万3190员工受影响。


对此，顶级手套发文告澄清，该公司员工宿舍只有约5700名员工受到影响，占了该公司2万1000名员工的27%。


文告强调，这间位于巴生中路的工厂，在这段期间将会以缩小规模的形式继续运作，同时那些没有受到强化行动管制令影响的员工将会继续上班，并且严格遵守卫生部防疫措施。

无论如何，员工宿舍落实EMCO，难免会扰乱顶级手套的生产及损失营收。


尽管管理层重申，不会关闭任何厂房，但会降低产能。分析员相信，由于员工短缺，将会对生产作业带来一些影响。


达证券分析员估计，14天的机会成本约为5460万令吉，不过，整体事件对2021财年净利表现的影响不到3%。


由于缺乏详情，分析员目前维持顶级手套的盈利预测及“买入”评级，但将10.80令吉目标价，下砍至8.84令吉，等同于本财年修改后的9倍本益比，关键风险为该区管控令延长。

Reference is made to the above matters. The Company would like to inform Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Malaysia”) that the Company had on 23 September 2020 announced on the Board’s decision to make a quarterly dividend payment for FY2021, and for better cash flow planning purpose, the Board has also decided to bring forward the final dividend entitlement and payment dates, i.e. from 18 November 2020 to 20 October 2020 (Entitlement date) and from 1 December 2020 to 3 November 2020 (Payment date) respectively.   Save for the above, the Board has not decided on Special Dividend payout as mentioned in the above Article from The Edge Market Malaysia.  The Board will make the necessary announcement to Bursa Malaysia should there be any decision on the Special Dividend. The Malaysian Government had on 7 October 2020 announced that Klang, Selangor will be under 14 days CMCO effective 9 October 2020.  As Top Glove is in essential product or service category, its business operations remain unaffected.   Hence, there are no business and financial impacts arising from the above CMCO.
