Mesdaq-bound TFP counts on unique business model

TFP Solutions Bhd is assured that its unique business model has tremendous growth potential as the group plans to expand regionally.
The group is en route for listing on the Mesdaq market this month.
Founder and managing director Alex Lim is confident that the group's customised end-to-end business productivity software and services would provide great advantages and recurring businesses compared with companies that offer partial solutions.
“We have also developed our own complementary software, knowledge base and IT methodologies to facilitate and integrate core businesses.
“Our customised software and support system ensures that our services are delivered in a cost effective and efficient manner,” Lim said.
TFP was established in May 2007 as an investment holding company but its roots can be traced back to 2002 when TenInfo Technology Sdn Bhd, its associate, was set up.
TFP has five subsidiaries – SoftFac Technology Sdn Bhd, ProDserv Sdn Bhd, ProXerv Sdn Bhd, MBP Solutions Sdn Bhd and SBOne Solutions Sdn Bhd; providing various business solutions.
SoftFac and ProDserv were granted MSC Malaysia status by Multimedia Development Corp Sdn Bhd.
Over the last five years, the group has grown by leveraging on an increasing customer base while developing partnerships with key IT principals such as Microsoft, SAP, Hewlett Packard and Computer Associates.
TFP serves mainly the non-financial services sector, with the manufacturing industry being the largest user of its applications and services.
According to Lim, TFP differentiates itself from its competitors by focusing on the fast expanding small and medium enterprises (SMEs) market, both local and regional.
“With globalisation and increasing competition, more SMEs are seeing the need for productivity-based IT services at competitive prices,” Lim said, adding that 80% of its 150 customers currently were SMEs, while 20% of are multinational companies.
Chairman Datuk Jamaludin Hassan said TFP planned to establish a stronger presence in Asean countries such as Vietnam, Thailand and Indonesia after the listing exercise.
“These emerging economies are driven mainly by SMEs and have sizeable foreign direct investments to boost growth,” Jamaludin said.
He added that the group expected its overseas operations to contribute 10% to 15% of revenue for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2008.
At the end of last year, over 90% of its sales were derived locally while the rest came from Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia.

还需要很久，哈哈，所以才会有tfp的idea，不过partner太认真做生意，不要炒，我需要努力说服他先，其实如果有能力，做上来变大才会赚更多钱，炒股赚不了多少钱。
不过如果要炒应该散户的票就会很少，因为炒家要控制票，而且要慢慢炒高再派发，所以通常内部的票是不会给外面的人的。所以不好意识啦，应该不会给任何人。 |
