AI浪潮席捲全球，國際貨幣基金（IMF）總裁喬治艾娃（Kristalina Georgieva）警告，AI「如海嘯般」衝擊勞動市場，影響全球4成就業機會，恐加劇社會不平等。

喬治艾娃出席瑞士國際問題研究所（Swiss Institute of International Studies）在蘇黎世主辦的活動指出，AI恐在未來兩年，衝擊已開發經濟體60％的就業機會，全球40％的工作也會受到影響。

面對AI浪潮來襲，喬治艾娃表示，「我們沒什麼時間讓民眾和企業做好準備。若是我們控制得當，AI能大幅提高生產力，但也可能帶來更多錯誤資訊，加劇社會不平等。」

喬治艾娃列舉2020年全球爆發新冠疫情及俄烏戰爭為例，提到近幾年世界經濟飽受衝擊，尤其氣候危機作祟下，她預期還將面臨更多衝擊，不過依然極具韌性。

喬治艾娃演說中指出，去年憂心多數經濟體陷入衰退的疑慮四起，但並未發生，沒有落入全球衰退的處境。她說，「讓我們備受打擊的通膨正在降溫，幾乎各地都是如此。」

瑞士央行（SNB）總裁喬丹（Thomas Jordan）也在同一場合演說，他聲稱瑞士的抗通膨戰役大有進展。瑞士4月通膨率年增1.4％，連續11個月維持在SNB的0到2％目標區間。

AI取代人類工作的示警聲此起彼落，華爾街巨頭高盛集團4月初報告即提出驚人預估，全球有3億個工作將因生成式AI萎縮或消失。

但高盛不忘強調AI的優勢，認為自動化帶來創新，促成新型態工作。企業拜AI所賜節省成本，將資源投注於開拓或擴張業務，全球每年GDP可因此增加7％。

喬治艾娃警告AI給勞動市場帶來「海嘯」般威脅，股神巴菲特在甫於5月初落幕的年度股東大會上，則將AI比擬成「核彈」，要是運用不當，將造成毀滅性後果。

巴菲特當時提及，AI技術能將其音容模仿得維妙維肖，連妻女都辨不出真偽，令他對AI應用於詐騙的潛力感到憂心。
