檳第2大橋合約額大減‧傳UEM建築未接受承建
檳城第2大橋計劃主要承建公司UEM建築（UEMBLDR，4855，主板建築組），基於第2大橋合約額大幅削減至13億令吉，至今未回應首相署是否接受承建，或導致第2大橋動工遙遙無期。消息來源說，UEM建築對首相署經濟策劃組旗下的檳城第2大橋私人有限公司（JKSB），削減該公司負責的大橋工程合約額至13億令吉，採取不退讓立場，並希望合約額提升至15億令吉。首相署經濟策劃組（EPU）一位官員透露，儘管回覆期限於預期，UEM建築至今仍未作出回應是否接受承建工程，市場人士指出，UEM建築動向不明或進一步促使第2大橋工程逾期完成。熟悉內情人士指出，UEM建築若接受13億令吉的標價，不僅無利可圖還蒙受虧損，除非當局調整公司的合約價值，否則接受機會不大。UEM建築未對傳聞作出回應。據悉，第2大橋的另一主要承包商中國港灣工程有限公司（CHEC），對負責的23億令吉工程部分滿意。首相署經濟策劃組今年7月30日，通過特別用途工具（SPV）公司檳城第2大橋私人有限公司（JKSB），頒發工程意向書予UEM建築與中國港灣工程。根據該意向書，UEM建築與中國港灣工程分別負責13億令吉與23億令吉的工程，並給予兩周期限作出答覆然而，UEM建築獲得工程總值減少約9億令吉，第2檳城大橋計劃總值約45億令吉，UEM建築原本有望獲得50%的合約。

UEM世界獻價售股票出價過高‧分析員：小股東應拒認購
UEM集團全面獻購UEM世界（UEMWLRD,1775,主板建築組），讓UEM置地取代上市計劃中，UEM世界向小股東獻售一藍子股票行動，分析員認為，小股東應拒絕認購此批一藍子股票，因為較早時擬定的發售價目前已經顯得過高。同時，大股東UEM集團配合條例，必須以同樣價格全面獻購尚未持有股權，或許因為出價高於市價，會達到90%股權，使4家公司除牌。根據UEM集團發出的全購文告，表示如何全購使股權持有超過90%，將不保留上市地位，如何沒有超過90%，則保留上市地位。
向小股東獻售一籃子股票
此集團進行的重組計劃中，UEM世界向小股東獻售一藍子的股票，包括UEM建築（UEMBLRD,4855,主板建築組）、OPUS集團（OPUS,3549,主板貿服組）、洋灰工業（CIMA,2844,主板工業產品組）、發馬（PHARMAR,7081,主板貿服組）等，而除權日期為本週四（或9月11日），分析員認為，由於此公司售股出價過高，而勸告小股東拒絕有關獻議。
UEM集團對4家公司的全購出價是UEM建築1令吉42仙（週一閉市價為1令吉36仙）、洋灰工業6令吉26仙（週一價為5令吉90仙）、OPUS集團1令吉零1仙（週一價為1令吉）和發馬3令吉61仙（週一價為3令吉58仙）。
UEM世界的限售比率是0.35899UEM建築（每股1令吉42仙）、0.21352的OPUS集團（每股1零令吉1仙）、0.05587發馬（每 股3令吉61）仙和0.05128洋灰工業（每股6令吉62仙）。
豐隆研究表示，由於UEM世界在今年初宣佈獻議時，上述公司的股價皆沖至最高價位，經過308迄今，建築業同儕的股價下調了30至40%，這幾家公司因為有這項建議，導致股價維持穩定。
4公司或全部私有化
在大市不振下，UEM集團的全面獻購，或許最終料成功將上述4家公司私有化，全部除牌。
豐隆表示，在重組計劃，完成全購後和配售股票後，UEM世界脫售其非UEM置地的業務，及現金回退每股1令吉24仙。
UEM世界目前的股價2令吉47仙計算，UEM置地的每股估值為1令吉23仙，或是2007年財政年本益比的4倍，比其他依斯干達經濟特區的同儕更為便宜，比較順利實業（KLS,5038,主板產業組）為5倍、吉星機构（CRESNDO,6718,主板產業組）為7倍及怡克偉士（EKOVEST,8877,主板建築組）為7倍。
旗下公司股價起落不一
UEM集團上週宣佈全購OPUS集團和發馬，週一（9月8日）宣佈全購UEM建築和洋索工業，集團旗下上市公司的股價表現起落不一。全天收市時，UEM世界微起2仙，至2令吉49仙，成交量為120萬7800股，交投相當活絡。，
UEM建築全天微起2仙至1令吉38仙、而OPUS集團則微跌1仙，至99仙。洋灰工業由於溢價最高，表現最為標青，全天漲20仙，至6令吉10仙。至於發馬則全天沒有交易。
艾芬研究表示，隨著母公司UEM集團進行全購，將UEM建築的評級從“買進”調降至“賣出”。而目標價為1令吉42仙，是全購的出價。

UEM集團將在週五（9月12日）發出全面獻購通知書給UEM建築（UEMBLRD,4855,主板建築組）小股東，不過部份小股東仍嫌1令吉42仙獻購價“不夠大方”，尤其後者若成功脫售資產後將擁有可觀現金，導致這項全購案成功率蒙上陰影。UEM世界（UEMWLRD,1775,主板建築組）董事經理兼首席執行員拿督阿末巴達斯在UEM建築週四（9月11日）舉行的特別股東大會後透露，公司將會在週五正式發出全購書給小股東，而相關股東特別大會也將“儘快”舉行。
不回應獻購價太低問題
不過，他不願針對獻購價是否出手太低等問題做出回應。
“目前我並不適合回答這個問題，應該交由其他人士回答。我只能告訴你明天（9月12日）將會正式向小股東發出獻購通知。”
目前UEM集團持有UEM建築51.7%股權。配合該集團重組計劃中，UEM集團將全面獻購旗下4家子公司，除了UEM建築（UEMBLRD,4855,主板建築組）外，其他還包括OPUS集團（OPUS,3549,主板貿服組）、洋灰工業（CIMA,2844,主板工業產品組）和發馬（PHARMAR,7081,主板貿服組）。
週四（9月11日）出席股東特大的小股東表示，1令吉42仙的獻購價出手太低，希望董事部重新考慮提高獻購價，才能真正反映UEM建築的資產負債表與資金情況。
其中一名黃姓小股東說：“由於股東特大剛通過以1億2594萬令吉代價脫售UEM建築位於柔佛新山的20塊土地及其獨資子公司Finwares私人有限公司，照理來說公司應該有許多現金在手，公司如無拓展計劃，董事部應該把錢退回。而我相信回退資本至少有幾十仙。”
另一小股東也附和，並認為UEM建築資本龐大與業務穩健，應該趁機提高小股東的利益，把多餘資金回饋股東，這才能符合其強調的國際形象，增加品牌知名度。
UEM建築較早前宣佈脫售上述資產主要是配合集團重整計劃，脫售非核心業務，專注在建築與工程業務，並計劃利用脫售收益來償還借貸或當作營運資本。
UEM建築週四閉市價為1令吉38仙，漲1仙。
