发DIVIDEND以前是有抗跌力的,很难买到CHEAP CHEAP

我不是泼冷水。。。别忘了放银行你的钱是100+3。7%=103。7%。。。
股息派了后，你的股价也会有所调整。。。而不是103。7%。。。

除非还没有ex-date钱股价起了6.5 - 7cent， 那么你就有103.7%

哎呀！既然买进当然是放一段时间啦！我相信这股。。。其实观察很久只是没买进。。。

近期之内会推上块四多，然后才 ex-dividend. (只是个人一厢情愿，买卖自负）

CSC Steel's quarterly profit doubles

PETALING JAYA: CSC Steel Bhd, formerly Ornasteel Holdings Bhd, posted a net profit of RM49.5mil for the second quarter ended June 30 (Q2) on improved buying sentiments and higher average selling prices for its cold rolled, galvanised and pre-painted steel coils.

OSK Research steel analyst Ng Sem Guan said in a research note that another factor impacting the results were a favourable product mix translating to higher earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization margins of 14.9% for the quarter or 4% quarter-on-quarter.

He said a new cold rolled coil (CRC) line also contributed to the stronger volumes while thinner gauge product by the mill offered higher value added premium.

"The commissioning of a new rolling plant last year has ramped up production volume and moved the company up the value chain via the introduction of thinner-cum-higher grade CRC hence improving the profit margin," Ng said.

Additionally, he said when a steel service centre is set up via CSGT Metal Vietnam Joint Stock Company, a company in which CSC has a 6% equity interest was ready next year, it might result in increased exports to Vietnam.

However, Ng said that while maintaining a "buy" call on CSC's stock, the outlook for the second-half (2H) was bumpy despite the company having achieved 88.6% of full-year estimates in 1H.

"Steel prices have begun to show a summer season correction but this will only be reflected in Q4," he said, adding that record steel prices and sluggish construction activities amid present political uncertainty might be the overriding factors in the country dampening demand.

不要再看了啦，敢敢买吧。。。应该已经很多人知道这支股不错的，不太会跌了吧。未来的股息应该会相当稳定。。。

CSC to spur value of metal spinning


PETALING JAYA: CSC Steel Holdings Bhd, formerly Ornasteel Holdings Bhd, aims to enhance the “spinning-value” of steel-related industries in Malaysia.

Metal spinning is a method of manufacturing circular, cylindrical or cone-shaped metal components.

Group managing director Su Wei-Jin said the company was seeking to integrate the upstream and downstream operations of the industry.

Integration was important to “take up the challenges in the time of turbulence”, he said at the launch of the company’s rebranding yesterday.



The local steel industry needed to combine efforts to go “up the value chain of products to fight foreign competitors,” he said.

“Let the Malaysian steel sector become a small but strong industry in Asia,” he added.

On the rebranding, Su said: “Initially, we intended to change the company name to CSC Malaysia but this dream could not come true, so we have chosen CSC Steel.”

However, the company’s website and e-mail address would continue to carry the domain name of CSC Malaysia.

CSC Steel’s new logo is a combination of a “Smiling M” in the centre of the CSC Group logo.

“We also hope that by leveraging on the strengths of (its parent) China Steel, CSC Steel will contribute more to the value chain of the Malaysian steel industry,” Su said.

Taiwan-based China Steel Corp president Tseng Ching-Yuan, in his speech read by a representative, said: “I sincerely wish that CSC Steel can leverage well the support given by China Steel to continually look for new ideas and to move fast to explore growth opportunities while contributing to the development of the Malaysian steel industry.”
